Chell and the Potato

One down, a lot more to go!

SO, spoilers. I haven’t actually played Portal 2. XD

What I did do was watch a full playthrough about a day after the game came out so I could be on top of all the memes and injokes about the games. _{And because my computer would explode if I tried to play games on it.}

I would like to imagine that Chell would just like to mess with GLaDOS every once in a while. Oh, GLaDOS. You were so adorable as a potato.

Also, this is going to be available at A-Kon. Hurray for progress! 8′D

THIS IS A FANTASTIC UPDATE~

HEY GUYS HOW ARE YOU THAT’S FANTASTIC.

So if you haven’t heard from either my Deviantart or Facebook, I have a webcomic now. XD It’s a little Steampunk Action/Adventure story called Taitle, and you can find it here: http://taitle.smackjeeves.com/ The basic summary is thus: In Victorian London, it is the revolution of Steam. A young woman wakes up on a ship with no memory of her past, an engagement ring around her neck, and mechanical wings grafted into her back. Can she find lost past before the person who destroyed her life finds her first?

Sounds exciting, right? Maybe? Probably? Either way it’s updating every Monday and Thursday if you want to check it out.

Richardson Digital Comics Artist

Sorry for another weird title. XD  This should be the last time that happens, I promise. Anyway, it’s time for PANEL A DAY!

Strangely enough, I’ve started to have the A-kon nightmares. You know, the kind of nightmares you get before a test or when you have something big to go to. I dreamed that I had barely anything to sell and the people selling beside me had huge displays that blocked my table. Weird dreams all over the place indeed. :/

 

Dallas Black and White Digital Comics Artist

That’s what I am. You’ll have to forgive me for a strange blog title, this is actually a quasi-direct class assignment.

So speaking of being a black and white digital comics artist, I have an interesting little sort of panel a day thing for you guys and an update on certain comic events. My goodness. It’s been a while since I’ve posted here, and I’m sorry about that. And I’m here to give you the reason for my absence.

My Final Thoughts

I’m writing this as an addendum to my previous post.  This is a warning to all of you people to NOT FAST LIKE I JUST DID.

After going to bed I was able to sleep until about 7. That’s when the repercussions hit fully. To keep this as simple and non-squicky as possible, I will sum up. I was vomiting about every 20 minutes from 7 to 9 AM. Then I vomited water and my stomach calmed fully. Funny they don’t mention all of that when you first read about fasting. :/

So if there’s a real lesson to any of this, it’s to NOT FAST. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, YOUR BODY WILL PUNISH YOU.

So for the rest of today, I’m going to just relax and take things very easy today. I’ll probably updating later today with a Panel of the Day. :3

I Give Up.

It is about 5:40 in the morning and as you can see, I’m awake. And eating a sandwich. And grapes. And a banana.

My enlightenment came at about 5:20 this morning when I awoke feeling nauseous and cold. I was dizzy and I couldn’t even think. When I couldn’t sleep the nausea away, the answer was clear. I stumbled to the fridge and ate the rest of the grapes there. My dizziness cleared. I ate a few bites of a banana. My nausea was going away. And now while I eat this sandwich, I no longer feel as cold.

So what have I learned?

Even though this was a detox I pretty much feel like shit. I checked how I look in the mirror and saw that I had definitely lost weight though. So… yay? Either way, I may be gaining that weight back today. I’m so hungry. D|
